The first time you get your Newton, it's always fun to delete notes and watch the Newton throw them into the trash, but, as time goes by, this becomes tedious, and a waste of time. Thus was born Trash Utilities. * What's in this archive?---------------------------------------------------------------------	There is one Newton software package and two text files inthis archive. They are:	* TrshUtil.txt	document you're now reading. 'Nuff said.	* TrshUtil.pkg	software package you'll install on your Newton.	* SAStuff.txt	A list of all Stand Alone products.* Installing SAI's Trash Utilities---------------------------------------------------------------------	First off, you must get the SAI's Trash Utilities software package onto your Newton. You can do this using the Newton Connection Utility (for Mac orWindows), the Newton Package Downloader, or the Newton BackupUtility. See the documentaion with each of these for moreinformation on installing packages with them.* Using SAI's Trash Utilities---------------------------------------------------------------------	Simply go to your Prefs (in the Setup folder of the Extras Drawer), and select SAI's Trash Utilities from the window that opens. There are three options.	1) Standard Delete Effect		This is the normal crumple-trashcan animation.		2) Quicker Effect			If this is selected, then when you delete an item, it zooms out and plays just the Crumple sound. It is substantially quicker than the standard effect.	3) Quickest		If this one is chosen, then deleting an item has no visible effect, other than to bring up the next item, or whatever would normally happen.* Registering SAI's Trash Utilities---------------------------------------------------------------------	It's Free!
